First of all, let me be clear: I will not get involved past this topic. Alot of people want me to moderate/declare winner/etc, and I don't want to get involved in that overall, you guys are big boys, you can do it yourselves. Please don't ask me to 'post logs/declare winners/etc' It's obvious who wins in the end. If you use this 'guidelines', then I don't see a problem with the final 'outcome' and determining a winner without my help... You can use these, or don't, but I won't be getting involved at all so if you make messy rules and have a messy war as it is currently, it is not my problem.

Rules:
-Have a set time, it can be different each week, but must be declared EACH TIME YOU WANT A BATTLE, and at least 24 hours in advance.
-Both parties MUST AGREE to the time terms & the battle. If a team does not show, then the other team wins by DEFAULT. If both parties do not agree, then its not a 'real battle'. People have jobs/lives/etc and one team can't just make up times and expect the other to be there every time.
-You cannot 'recruit' a 3rd party player if there not in your fleet. Anything that this player kills, does not count towards the war (AKA If I'm helping out OE or TRIBE, my kills don't count because I am not IN THERE FLEET Tongue.) If you want there kills to count, they need to be in your fleet, simply put.
-Kills out of the fleet you are fighting DO NOT COUNT. (EX. I get killed by a FLEET MEMBER who is in the war. MY death does not count to there 'war' because I am not in there fleet.)
-Fleet wars have any amount of people in the fleet weither it's 6vs2, 5vs3, 3vs3, etc. If you want a set number of people, discuss this before the battle BEGINS. Otherwise it is no ones problem if one team has more then another.
-Have a set FINAL/ENDING time. For example, an HOUR for the war. This prevents people from ending the war after 15 minutes just because 'there winning'. Having a set FINAL time each time makes it ALOT easier.
-Have one member from each team TOTAL the kills/deaths and compare. Make sure to keep score WHO WAS KILLED for each kill to solve any disputes. Both can post the final scores.
-If you want any 'rules' changed from outside this guideline, you should POST it when you REQUEST THE BATTLE.
-If a fleet cannot make it, you must cancel the battle 12 HOURS in advance OR MORE! Otherwise the win goes to the team that does show up!
-It's a game! Have fun! If you lose, you lose, if you win, you win. Not a big deal! Enjoy the battles!

An example post would be:

"
ACE requesting fleet war against TRIBE
Time: July 4th, 12PM EST
Restrictions: No Changes (No rule changes from the above guidelines!)
"

And someone from the other fleet (preferably a higher ranked member) would reply with:

"
TRIBE accepts terms & conditions at July 4th, 12PM est against ACE
"

... And do this each time you WANT a battle, so if your doing it weekly, you make a 'request weekly'. This will stop one fleet or another stating that we 'didn't accept any other wars' and will allow fair gameplay. Sometimes, one fleet cannot make it and will tell you! Good luck everyone. I hope this helps your circus. Feel free to post any additional comments or changes. Wink
