First of all, I have bought the domain StellarFrontier.net, which will be a nice page supporting SF, and possibly good for a nexus name. But continuing on... I have installed Mantis on my server.. If you never heard of mantis, you will love it!

Mantis is a bug/feature logger, with many advanced features. I kept it simple, but basicly, it can store/log bugs and features, if there solved or not in a dev log, and files. Mainly you can link up files with issues you submit, or we can actually post 'file fixes/tests' in the Mantis for everyone to download as it comes out. Since 1.2RC7 is the latest version, I'd think it would be good to go with 1.3.0 (Let's use minor numbers for once) as the next version.. What does everyone think?

Please go to http://stellarfrontier.net/mantis and sign up now. Post your bugs, post your features, anything you can think of that you want to see changed in the game. This will allow us to monitor bugs and issues very closely, and very easily. Soon as we mark the bug/feature as complete, it throws it up to the development log, for everyone to see.

Head over there now, sign up (you will get a activation e-mail that allows you to pick a password) right away! If you have any issues, send a message on the boards over here.

For newbies, it's simple to submit or view an issue:
1. Click report issue. (This goes for features or bugs)
2. Select the category: Client, Server, or Nexus.
3. Fill in the information, make sure to select the version (Currently only one version, but please USE this, as later on down the road we can sort bugs via version.)
4. Submit with any images or instructions on how to create the bug, or the feature you want.

Please remember, be as DETAILED as possible, if you know how to replicate it, then write it down! Thanks.

So far so good, you can see the changelog here: http://stellarfrontier.net/mantis/changelog_page.php

You'll probably need to log in, but, you can monitor changes in the change log for 1.3. Remember to post bugs please so Mobious and myself can get them.

1.3 - will not have any 'lag' issues solved just yet, but it will have most bugs zapped that are not lag related (to F9, just yet.) as lag issues will be a good amount of recode on the server/client network side.

The more people who can report bugs (provided you can type good english so the Coders know what you'r talking about) the better the new version will be off, and it just might get produced faster Wink. Hop on board folks!
