prelim. results for LAN/Intranet play

  • Syncing gets nasty within a half-hour, everything is at one place, the next, they're screens away.
  • Q-drive is fawked....tied to the sync problem...the bitmap plays twice everytime
  • Mouse firing provokes the guns to fire TWICE
  • docking does NOT set the navicomp to systems, it sets to target unless "D or S" is pressed
  • F9'ing loses target, otherwise it's normal unless desyncing gets out of hand
  • chat is also screwy, Havik says it doesn't "update" unless TAB is pressed when switching from TEAM chat
  • lag reported on my end was 131 for me, 171 for Havik, he says it was 31 and 17 for him

Confirmed about clicking mouse and missiles firing twice. This is caused by the client telling the server about the click and then the server telling the client again about it when it rebroadcasts it to all of the clients, so it happens twice on the client. I'll fix it.

chat bug is my end, ill fix that.

For 1. and 2., there probably the same bug.

I checked in a fix for the mouse firing causing two shots. Will be in the next alpha
