Lol guys, very funny. Tongue

(Now I have one more post too, yippee!) Wink

Oh, and @alex: This rule change isn't retroactive; old posts in this board that didn't count toward post count still won't count.

It's not like people care about post count anyway. Tongue

Post counts don't matter anyways.

Now for the girl situation...........
I can't see SF getting more females, not at this pace.

Well, I don't think we have a "girl problem," whatever that is. I think overall the game, the community, and the administration are pretty welcoming to new players regardless of gender, and I think once we have the new overhaul out and we start doing some serious advertising, we'll get a lot more players of both genders.

Altho Nite is correct about the advertising issue and when it happens sure lots more of both sexes will play, but i agree with sandtrooper too as i see his point of view on this somewhat,  to explain it ... in a better way would have done wonders for the answer.   There is no game on the planet that compares with what sf at its core is.   But... what girl things can be added to ... more target that .. gender so that even come ad day it can be said this game is girl.{x}. friendly.. i mean we cant paint poka dots on ships or have soap day for sf, but as a question stated {what} {things} can be done that would make it more ... girl likeable?

for me seems that the stats in girl guy pop cant be that wrong i wonder what it was in the older days when sf was going well...

hey just a question...

One thing could be to remove that joke of a "Gender selection" when making an account..."Please" and "Neither" don't help in identifying player's gender, although humorous (and and a sick, crude one IMO) it may be, it doesn't help in some cases.

Yeah, 'please' could be removed. However, Neither will stay. Some girls would prefer not to be known as girls sometimes in games simply for the fact that they might be hounded by guys if they do, and some people just don't want that, but don't want to be marked 'as a male'. Smiley

Agreed. Also, 'Neither' would be good to accommodate those who are intersex or who do not identify with either gender.
