Does anyone still even play this? I'm not sure how to get setup, I don't even know if there's active servers.
I have a new computer now, and sorta lost everything when the old computer blew up on me.

I hope one of the planned features is a possible set rate of fire per weapon, and not that clunky "mash the keyboard" or one shot per frame deal till you run out of energy.

It would be very nice to have shooting work close to how it does in continuum, but without having the same limitations as continuum.

Often at night EST time a few people play on the SF.net-US or OE server. If you are talking about 2.0, not many do right now no. We had a test yesterday with about 8 people total in the end, which went well. Game was in sync for ships/fire, just got to get other things in sync.

Features aren't being added until the game works, but yeah, that's a couple of them.

to be honost.. SF isnt very active at the moment.

usually at nights its just me and spok.

and errmm sometimes Havik and night , sandtrooper stop by.
other than that errm cant think of anyone else who atually plays.

the members of gunboat are still active however time restraints.
were mostly just waiting for 2.0 to be released.

but other than that the servers are pretty empty... with 0 players.

Although i have to admit. i do see names that i have never seen before
wich means we are getting new players to the game. but its not like the days of old..
not even close... were hopefull that once 2.0 is out that SF will get a higher fanbase visa facebook

at 100 active members we will quallify to get on the top multiplayer lists again.
if that happens perhaps players from Continueum Infantry, excetra will read it and check it out.

Oh yeah Night i forgot to ask you.
one of the new players i spoke of was complaining about the Stellarfrontier website awhile back.
any plans with making it easier for new prospects to navigate?

thats funny the OE are doing well, in fact 29 members strong with only a few now that are inactive,  we have nites in our server that are full even wth 10 folks in the server.

so Harpor dont know what hes talking about,  the OE and play there is getting better by the day.

Yeah it's in the information we gave out. website is going to be a proper website in 2.0 where you can manage your fleet and such there. probably have one login for in game/out of game, and forums there. Will be easy to handle blahblah.

Mobious is working on it at the moment.
