Also, Mars in the future we might have to rename your models to something more race-like. For instance, an arcean fighter shouldn't be called Jcat, that's not very arcean. Jcat sounds more like a terran fighter.

Ok I really like the carrier concept. Maybe make the rear look a bit more like an arcean SB, with the divisions instead of a full continuous circle. Broaden the center so it fills the divided circle line, that's where weapon hardpoints can be located, fighters come out of the bays (the divisions in the circle).

The front is perfect, maybe add a second angle in that straight line, will make it look more elegant.

Also, the tiger2 model is something I'd love to see as a capital ship, it looks great, and I think could work for a special kind of ship. Maybe Imperial flagship or something.

About the renaming, check out the wiki, there sandy and I have been writing the history for the races we find in SF, also, there are pictures of how they look like. You might want to give it a read so you can fully understand what I tried to explain here.

Very cool review!  ok Nite gave it 2 stars and you gave it 3 i think i can do better still, i would like to place a file somewhere perhaps on the svn later if Nite agrees to store some of the ones already liked.  If the fighter looks good could it be redone some for say a pirate?  I was planning once i had all the fighters and carriers accepted to then work on other capital ships since now we have a free process that does work.

Chill can you arrange a place for some of the files as like a repository so that when needed Nite or anyone else needs them they can just download the 3d files directly as well as the film stripping?

Also after reading your comments about 8 times, can you tell me what your exact vision of the Arcs seem to be as far as if you were a Arc engineer?  I mean i see the 2.0 arc ships and im trying to get in the same genere as them however im more interested in what a real Arc engineer would think as far as if someone tapped him on the head and said hey heres a spaceport and 50 zillion doughnuts, just build one.

Im not asking for a design im asking more for the train of thought you think one would have.
If i can get into the basic thinking of one of these creatures i think it would help some.  Yes ill go read the wiki.

Thanks for your thoughts on this and i hope later today since now i need to redo both the fighter and the carrier that the next version will be less blocky.  but if you look close at the arc starbase its edges have lots of blocks.. i even added a few blocks where blocks dident go just to make it a bit more blocky. 

ill make a newer version this afternoon and post it and see if its closer in the mean time what did you have in mind for the last arc fighter the tiger2 version?  if i should not change it and you want it for some other reason, help me make a place for such storage.
any of the designs before being done will go to weylin when i can find his hiding self, for 2.0 color and then back to alex who has master the art of 2.0 film strip.

This is ver 5 of the Arc carrier Notice from last carrier how much smoother and rounder all the edges are and that i kept the freighter front filled in as much of the middle as i could get away with (like Chill wanted) re did many of the front facets as well as rounded all pointing boxes.  This is about the best this one will get without starting over.   I hope its liked better than the last one.  AC5 drawn colored rendered by Mars.
