You have seen some of the accepted designs using level 1 crude rendering.  A good captain never lets his commander know what cards he has in hand, like Scotty and Kirk.  "There is nota dropa more power i can squeese out of the engines sir!"  yet he always did anyway.    This is kinna my version of that,   The ships endure a long process in one program to get drawn basic bs color and first render,  you have seen those,  just to get a feel for the design,  some of the ships were accepted for 2.0 but most of that still depended on how much i could squeese out in the second render,  Normally they would be colored 2.0 style first before this Second Render however i wanted to show here that they can look really badd ass with the right tools.

Right now the arc carrier will be the first to be colored 2.0 style and re rendered in this process then sent to Alex136 for film strip.

I hope you can see the changes a expensive rendering engine has made.  Compare the old ones to the new ones and i think you will be shocked, If you want them right you have to get the good stuff.
Cybermotion 3d is the freaking bomb.

Take a look...

It dont take a expert eye to see what a second render will do.

check out both images the one on the left re rendered where the right one has only basic image render, notice how the quality get vastly improved.
If you really want to see the difference blow the picture up some and take a closer look.
