nope thats not it it was removed on purpose of the ONE sf im sure, so no one can get it.  you may have to ask darksun if your interested in that,  i wanted to see how the AI code worked to see if it could be improved but i have a new shoe ill eat if they decide to let a copy out of the den.

The 2.0 source license has been changed, approved by Stardock. Mainly the general idea is 2.0x isn't open source anymore, sorry mate.

The 1.2 source, I am missing myself, might need to get SD to host it again. It seems that the site is erroring out at the moment. But no Mars, we didn't remove it on purpose or ask for it to be removed.

Edit: Found the 1.2 source and updated link, http://stellarfrontier.ss-network.net/index.php/topic,82.0.html, feel free to play with it. Please be sure to read the topic and the EULA, thanks.

that still needs a graphics lib to work.
its too hard to play with for me, but others may find it interesting... munch on shoe, munch...

also i dont like the active rewards deal its very cheesie i think cause simple skill in the game will make that up easy.  vets wont need it cause it will be easy to abuse, and nubies will find it addictive to have to even play well.   just learn and play and get good. ( just my thoughts on it)

the passive ones are good im not totally thrilled about them however as they also seem abit cheesy just showing them like galaga used too.  The passive skill sets however cool, just when you start putting rank up like that its too arcade like. (just my thoughts)  i just made three stripes im a sgt now im on level 3 wow....ok if your 7-11.

I would not mind a captains profile page,  this would not be totally in game but more like automated attachment to the game as some kind of link, with some kind of menu as we currently have with the nexus game board list of folks,  except this would have profile info on the captain, is he good bad ugly, kills planets, kills players, makes too many jokes, ect.  even a short fillable bio could be added to that along with his awards, metals progress stats score ect.  this way a new player find himself a real captain with a name that has some meaning as its supported by some kind of profile, and others meaning, as they could go see that persons profile during a match and know more about that player than hey im joe blow with a cannon.

Nay, that's exactly the 1.2 source, everything is in there. It's kind of a pain to get going, though. But that's the original/exact source, guaranteed Wink There are three directories, I believe frontier/src/gui, frontier/src/portcpp, and slib folders are the lot of the source coding.

Should talk about other things though in the right forums/post though ;P But yeah... I agree about not including active skills.
