I got to thinking. No offense to anyone, but the current GUI is a little bit inconvenient. You guys do great work on this game, but I was just wondering if there were any new ideas/plans/setups for a new GUI anytime soon.

I would be happy with just adding mouse support to the current one.

Or what do you mean by inconvenience exactly? Not sure I understand you. The above are just examples anyways. Probably going to be modified, maybe not used, maybe use something entirely different, etc.

by inconvenience i meant mostly keyboard controlled. I must have mis-worded myself. The current GUI is also more like a command window with graphics. It fits the retro style of the game, which is nice.

Btw, EPIC new designs!

Ah, yeah well I'm leaving the current design for peeps to use too. Anyways.

Keyboard controlled? as in the keys itself? I'll allow remapping and such, possibly to use a joystick in the future. I'd need to grab one to do tests and such. Won't be yet though, but yeah, will get done.

I think we should add joystick support just so I can use my Xbox 360 controller to play.

Oh god, now I'll have to reject this.

Oh come on, what would I do if I wanted to use my "Free Store" M$ 1997 Sidewinder (a GAME / MIDI PORT joystick!), my shitty PS2 Phillips knockoff controller, or my wired XBox 360 controller?
