this one is reworked all lines as hidden as i can get them, smoothing upped 10% more, re colored to match pirates the best i can get it and the ship was rendered using the first engine.  since pirates are as explained not a race but a profession, i used materials from terran ships, dreg ships and arc ships in its making.  i did a lot of work on the glass to make it two toned.

Well it does look good, but i don't think we might apply carriers to pirates.

In all honesty, I'd scrap the pirate fighter. I tried to see it but I don't really like it now.

The pirate carrier, isn't really pirate like, it looks like it COULD be more arcean like, but you need to do something about making it feel more like a arcean ship. I'm not really sure where to go with this though. I'm judging this only by top down at. But looking at it, those round tubes really need to 'fit' more with Arceans, maybe even lose them completely and do something different on that ship, I'm not really sure though check the current arcean designs maybe.

What about not having any unique pirate ships.  Or maybe just a raider and one or two others.  If you think about it, pirates will typically have vessels stolen or captured from the three races.  Or I guess they could look very similar to some of the other races ships with "home made" modifications or repair work done to them.

Why not let me rescale the pirate fighter and change the tubes to more voyager squareish ones, and re work the nose and tail some and use it for the raider?

it's something i want to do for all of us and my personal eccentricities combined. :3

I think the ship needs a tad more work but it's a huge improvement from the first, very huge. Nice work.

You should talk to mars about all that. Though he gave me basic specs of what he's using I'm not 100% sure in all honesty how it all works Wink
