DOWNLOAD SF AND PLAY NOW

Since the download link for sf is buried now..

once game is downloaded select play on the internet and select the US server for starters,  then make your ship name and player name it dont matter what race you pick and say ok and play

the very basics

arrow keys fly you around
d key  docks you so you can upgrade move mouse to each item hit enter get a better on and hit enter again.

spacebar fires guns

or you can auto target and fire using a and f

all ships not your race are your foes.

F isn't good for player vs player because of lag issues in 1.4. You fire basically where the enemy is on the screen, but it doesn't help when you are always out of sync. But it's used to 'warp' close to a ship/etc.

It works on robots though since there as smart as a doorknob.

The 'f' key is useful even in 1.4 if you use it the right way.
