Nexus is going down for about a hour while I do some upgrades.

When it comes back up, you'll have to upgrade your Stellar Frontier client and server files as I am changing the keys themselves as well to prevent issues, I will provide a full install and a patch.

Expect this in about 15-30 minutes to go down. Trying to do a full build at the moment and some other things.

Patch file from 1.4.0.x to 1.4.1.0: http://stellarfrontier.net/SF140141.zip

Nexus isn't up yet.

Edit: Nexus is up, full download is still uploading.

I only did a minor test on this new EXE so report any issues that are NEW. Overall I did minor tweaks so nothing should be hurt. Just make sure score is still fine when winning a game/etc.

Download the file and put it into your StellarFrontier.net folder, pretty much.

Often this folder is in:
C:\Program Files\StellarFrontier.net\
OR
C:\Program Files (x86)\StellarFrontier.net\

So find that, unzip the files there. It will ask to overwrite the current files, say yes. If you don't understand this then you can download the FULL package at http://stellarfrontier.net, which is available now.

They are the same, but its patched from 1.4.0 to 1.4.1, so it did include them to prevent anyone who hasn't played in a bit and just grabs the patch, the ability to get all the files needed. For the most case just make sure you have the .exes copied over.

I will be heading to sleep in about 10

kk, just wondering, because my files are hashed in my making of my sw mod.

EDIT:
them being deleted/outdated would make me quite angry O.o

You probably shouldn't use the default SF files for your mod and make it completely separate like Sandtrooper does. I did stop updating 1.4 for the most case but for example in 2.0 I change them here and there, and often the files are updated/etc. Could name them something like SW_DATA_RACES.sec for example, etc.

So three minor things changed, here is two of them in detail:

-Score exploit should be fixed now when killing AI that have a massive amount of bonus points due to many AI and server idling
This means that a AI who has been playing for a day now since the server has been left on without dying (and has a crazy bounty) won't give off 10k points on death. This happens when you have alot of AI and a trigger happy starbase that doesn't seem to ever die, racking up 1000+ active kills.. Fixed this to have a maximum points on death.

-Adjusted score 'threshold' for score vs time. It will be a bit lower then before.
This still needs testing.. But this means that game that don't last very long points were cut a bit depending on TIME. Overall, if a game lasts 10 minutes now, the points won't be very high vs a game that lasts 30 minutes, or an hour, etc. I adjusted this because I felt that games that do last for a longer time shouldn't be LESS points then games that are super quick and take two seconds to win.

But please note, if your game (like KoTH) lasts long, you WILL get good points. It's dependent on time, mainly. Overall it should be balanced a bit more properly now... Another thing, more NPC = less points at victory since it is split. However, you can get more kills thus gaining points this way. So it is a trade-off.
