i agree with that post, harpor.

i'm playing other games/working on my games/keeping up in school while waiting for 2.0. i'm done with 1.4, as it is just too laggy.

indeed. say nighthawk i was thinking with 2.0 why dont we have a special Champion rank
ya know hold a tournament evey now and then and the winner gets a special capital ship to use along with the others.

and whoever is the current champion may battle to defend his/her title.
something that can be fought for and defended. kindof a way to get players into a goal to win.
sure the capital ship may be more powerfull. but it would not be used in a defence but mearly for non title battles.

ive been thinking this over for a few months atually how we could create something like that.
but anyways ill putting the sujestion out there regardless.

or if the current champion goes inactive a way to vacate the title to pass it along to another.
just an idea for 2.0 make things a bit more interesting then just pvp. but pvp with a prize.

or if thats to must the current champion has silver graphic ships or something simple like that.

sorry i was a bit tired yesterday with the typos.

well just somthing to spice up the compitition. sure the highscores.. but well those were cheated and no one even has a shot.
but something thats atually obtainable for all players say ya missed the title this month train up
and go for a title shot.

Ohh Harpor Of The Night is a kid in a candy store. I just looked up free MMORPGs
and I have to give 5 stars to both Perfect world and Runes Of Magic.

id say they are even better then guildwars.
Runes of magic is similar to world of warcraft they both are freakin awsome.

I know this has nothing to do with stellarfrontier but im having a blast.
best thing they are both completly free. id even wager to say they are better then Guildwars.
they certainly have alot more players thats for sure.

Oh NightHawk i was wondering about the 2.0 synk issue.
is there anyway to convert the Servers to the nexus itself

because if someone is hosting a server we have to go threw that. would that fix the ping at all?
i figured if that happened then the graphics in the client and dat files would double but then again im not a programer.

i know you said that it would have been easier to start from scratch with the coding instead of choping it up and fixing it up.
i guess what im trying to say is im very greatfull for you taking this project on.

its interesting SF would have died out when stardock pulled out. but because of us players we are able to keep it from dying.
I remember a quote from one of the stardock staff.

when she took a look at the code she said it was a complete nightmare.
its interesting though Doug Hendrixs work was able to get players who refuse to see it die.
even though it had Lag. glitches/exploits.

I guess its the storys the battles the players a combination of alot of things that have kept SF going all this time.
Sufficite to say Its good to see were still fighting for it even to this day.
