Let's see who can solve it all first...  Cool
Objective [Read carefully and completely]:
Solve the following equation set. Complete in one sitting. Record the time started and the time completed, and include them in your reply. You are allowed as much paper as necessary and a four-function calculator. No internet nor outside help. Please note the answer format, and format your final answer as such.
 
Equation set:
Equation One:
Solve, and let the solution be 'x' in the final equation.
{9x + 2 = 3x + 38}
 
Equation Two:
For this equation, identify the number of solutions (or zeros), and let that be 'y' in the final equation.
{-37 + 5y5 – 12y+2=6}
 
Final equation:
Solve.
{x+y=a}
Answer format (everything until the "====="):
a=?
Time started:
mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss
Time Completed:
mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss
