I was about to begin a new mod (I deleted my old ones when I uninstalled SF last time)...

The .dat files look like ass and a half. What are you guys opening them up in?
I tried opening them in notepad (how I used to do it) and it's like a running string of headache across the page. No real end to each line. I could have sworn it was laid out a lot neater before. I could do it on my own I suppose, but if anyone elses looks neater or there is a different way to open/edit them, I would be greatful if you'd tell me before I go wasting my time.

All the files came from the RC7, there most likely saved as UNIX text, which is pretty standard now in days, but Notepad fails to reconize this.

Get Textpad.. textpad.com.. Supports opening up multiple files, and its super easy to use. Alot nicer and you can organize the files as groups and open them up as groups etc. Will be fine though.
