There are some forums issues, I'm not sure if it is due to corruption of the boards table file, or if the server is having problems and needs a restart. I'm probably thinking there is some corruption however.

Got to wait for DarkSun to check it out, but letting everyone know, it isn't your computer, it's the forums.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what the precise issue is? The attachment directory is nowhere near full - it's like over half empty, I think. And we are also far from reaching the space quota allocated to us...

Not sure exactly, Jibbets second GUI forum seems borked now too, only loads two posts.

Tried this on my server (Just took  abackup to see if it was the DB that was corrupt) but it wasn't, loaded fine.

Not sure what it could be exactly, I'm guessing some PHP settings though.

it started in the stellar frontier gui thread. Wouldn't let me upload SF1024plain.bmp (2.25Mb) and SF1024hover.bmp (2.25Mb). THen i opened the thread Front Page and it went down as soon as i tried to load the files. Then Sand opened a thread for me and i managed to upload pirate4.jpg (300 odd Kb) then i tried the bmp's again and it went down !

Have the bmp's been uploaded to the server ?
Are they corrupted ? ( they shouldn't be they open fine on my computer)
All of the threads that have stopped are related to me ! i post a file, it's says i've posted them, but it doesn't show in the thread !

I appologise if i have uploaded anything corrupted.

Not your fault.

I'm thinking the PHP max load KB limit (not the forums limit, this is the server php.ini limit) is under the megs were specifying or something like that. Rather, there being uploaded but PHP cannot handle a specific amount of megs per page. ATC had a similar issue where he tried to upload something like 5-8 megs and the server timed out before that. But since your uploaded files a couple megs at a time, it was successful, but then the 'main page' where it displays all the images might be greater then the PHP max KB limit to load, sort of speak.

Kind of crappy since we have all that discussion and now its fubared because of it Tongue Not sure what we can really do about that.

Just gotta use alternate means.

I suggest going with just oploading example shots to Photobucket or some place like that and sending actual files to the team via Email.

That being the case then if you remove my final posts from all three of those threads that should open them up again !

From now on i'll only post jpg's of less than 400KBs !!

Yeah, we'll figure something out, issue is atm I cannot even access it. Lemme see if I can actually get a MOD that prevents images from loading unless clicked.

Honestly I think thats a better idea. I don't enjoy uploading somewhere else and linking it, gets annoying to me, to be honest. The issue is even though its THUMBNAILING THEM, its actually loading all of them too. I'd rather want it to only thumbnail and open WHEN clicked, properly.

I'll also modify the max jpg limit to 500k soon and modify some other max values.
