Probably not the best place for this topic, but does any one know how to configure Ubuntu to be accessible over the network, and to a Windows computer at that?

Been trying just about everything, but nothing's working

Search (or ask) ubuntuforums.org for help setting up Samba. I'd tell you how myself, but I hardly knew what I was doing when I set up my ubuntu box as a fileserver, and that was 6 months ago.
