To help commemorate the reival of Stellar Frontier, I have considered and observed players online.
The one thing that should, and has been a tradition of the game community, is the tendancy of our top ELITE to assist, train, and otherwise help the newbies as they appear.
An act of genorosity that distringuishes those of this gaming community from the masses of MMORPGs, MMOFPS, and other such blocks of bull, rife with the worst kind of gaming scum.
As such... I have decided to mark how much we care, and have developed:
The Stardock Systems - Aerospace Force
125th Space Agressor Squadron
'Phoenix'
Supreme Agressors

SYMBOLOGY:
In the above image, are a number of subtle, but meaningful details.
1: The mascot of the Supreme Agressors is the legendary bird, the Phoenix. Known for dying and then being reborn from the ashes in a burst of flame to soar across the sky, projecting a fierce aura of power from the flames.
2: The number 125 reprisents SF version 1.2 rc5, the most widely liked build of the game from the old days.
3: The wings of the Phoenix have the four colors of the default races of Stellar Frontier. Blue (Terran), Green (Pirate), Yellow (Arcean), and Red (Drengin).
4: And of course, the whole space motif. Wouldn't be 'Stellar Frontier' without space would it?
"What is an Agressor?"
What it is NOT:
- It is NOT a l337 badge.
- It is not a status symbol of veterancy.
What it is:
- An Agressor is a combat pilot who's job it is to engage trainees in mock combat, improving their skills by teaching them not only the basics, but the advanced skills to improve their performance. Then going a step further to push each trainee to their absolute limits. A Supreme Agressor is a highly skilled fighter, and a patient instructor who turns rookies into a force to be feared by its enemies.
- It is a position of respect, in return for the respect given over the years. The badge is not only a symbol of this respect, but a reminder that those who obtain it are obligated to return that respect with equal or greater results.
"Who are the Supreme Agressors?"
Who they are not:
- The Supreme Agressors are NOT a fleet, and are not affiliated with any fleets. Their mission in game-life goes beyond petty political views to the core of the community itself.
- They are NOT people who have positions of stature or power within' the gaming community because of things such as their ability to host, mod, or program the software.
- They are NOT the guys with fifty bajillion points who scrambled to the top of the leaderboard.
Who they ARE:
- The Supreme Agressors are the most fearsome, but honestly friendly and helpful players in the game.
- They are the police force who enforce friendly play and maintain the environment of a server by force of skill alone.
- They are teachers of difficult skills... Patient, effective, lethal.
"Can I be an Agressor?"
- An agressor title is not some goal to be achieved. It is a type of player, a behavior. It is a job description. One cannot set out to 'become an agressor' the same way one earns unlocks in a game of Battlefield. A Supreme Agressor title is not 'earned'. It is awarded through a combination of skill, conduct, and kindness.
"What are the criteria to be an Agressor?"
- An Agressor is determined by a combination of their skills, their conduct, and their ability to teach others.
A supreme agressor can go toe to toe with the top players of the community.
A Supreme Agressor is friendly, kind, and above petty squabbling over such things as points or game ranks.
A Supreme Agressor can and will teach a total rookie the finer arts of combat and have them performing well above the skills of equal time-in-game players with usually just one session.
"Who are the current Agressors?"
- There are no limits to the number of Supreme Agressors. The More, the better. But not everyone is cut out for it. Either due to lack of skill, incompatable personality, or one simply cannot handle teaching someone else and getting it across.
- The current list of nominees for Supreme Agressors (Based on conversation with someone else, and in no particular order.)
DarkSun
NiteHawk
SandTrooper
Admiral Tigerclaw
Havik
Banjo
- Suggestions for other qualifying players will be examined and agreed by the listed, existing Agressors.
Those listed, come grab your title. Those not listed. Don't freak out about 'not being good enough'. As I stated. It's not simply 'being good'. It's an entire way of thinking. Remember. An agressor isn't there just to be respected, they're there to ensure others get the respect they desserve.
