Apologies for the delay, I have been pressed for time lately for work so it has been difficult to work on the new version. I am going ot try to get it done very soon but theres alot of things I am trying to prevent. There is also a few things I have been showed that do need fixing, (point boosters method), and always, the nexus fix to prevent players from cheating and such. Should come with more fixes too.

However it will not come with the fix to solve issues that occur when a server has been up for a very long time (Such as a few issues that were posted in the bugs area (http://stellarfrontier.ss-network.net/index.php?topic=865.0).. Involving a few issues with AI and player slots. However, I think it is one or two small values that are corrupting the game due to memory leak or failure to declare the char/value properly.

There are however some attempts to fix these bugs though, which include ALREADY CONNECTED issues (boot you randomly, very rare), and players undocking. And some things do need testing, such as the changing ships with AI and undocking stuck bug, and the new replenish system. But for the most part it is still going and trying to get alot of things done to make the nexus and game more secure.

Expect probably two more versions that will address the rest of the bugs, unfortunatly, the big bug involving things messing up after a certain length (Like when SF.net is up for more then a couple days) will need to be solved. Since it takes very long, I am presuming its a small leak or value/char issue that SLOWLY builds up, but I am yet to determine it yet though and I will be using a new mem leak tester in the future. If it is NOT a memory leak, it will be like finding a needle in a haystack, and require a couple days of uptime to even test. So this bug is one that will definatly take a bit of time. But neverless, the SF.net server has been restarted everyday, and this seems to be okay for now until we can get the fixes rolling.

Thanks!

Everything sounds really good!  Thanks Nite, Mob, and anyone else that has put in time to fix the bugs.

I can only imagine the amount of time it has taken to track down all the weird and messed up coding in the game.  Keep up the good work.  I just wish I could do more to help.

You are telling me Sad

The 1.2 RC7 coding is different from the 1.2 RC7 final, it was like they did a bit of work on it and then stopped half way in a bunch of areas which sucks! There are definatly some new bugs that came from it that is, (was playing/testing it out to see theh difference, not sure what it is yet but the same bugs that are occuring now do in the 1.2 source, but not in the exe that was compiled by stardock.)
