Here, the community can discuss what to work on/discuss articles on the Wiki SF has. (or read the sticky at General Discussion)

For starters, I've noticed that ChillFactor wants to rename all Terran government references to "Starfleet" rather than "Empire"...I think thats more appropriate because we already have two empires.

@ Chill: You or I can move that page about you to "ChillFactor" rather than "Insert Article Here" if you want.

I don't feel like registering, but at some point, a section devoted to the game's soundtrack would be nice.

When I get all bugs done I will be relaxing for a couple weeks and working on the wiki myself, but might take some time to get there.

@ATC: That'd be your own article then... aren't you the maker of the soundtrack?

@Sandy: I'm still thinkiing about also changing either Arceans or Dregins to the Pride (Arcean Alpha Pride or Drengin Alpha Pride), so we have three distinct factions, plus I'm also thinking perhaps of making pirates the Pirate Guild of E.Indi.

Already moved the article to ChillFactor, gotta make some corrections, but that'll be for later 8D

Also look no the 'random page', there's always something you can support the wiki on!

Conflict of interest.  I'd be making biased comments about the work I did.

It would be better for me to answer production questions and provide suggestions to the article.

Doesn't matter if it's biased, it is for a reason, besides you can build your own profile and the soundtrack section apart. No one knows about that better than you...

Already added some material to the wiki on terrans and pirates, check it out!

I have added Category:Stubs. Is there any way to make it list pages which contain {{Stub}} there, or we must add [[Category:Stubs]] into the source of every stub?

Edit: Okay I got it;
[[Category:Stubs]] needs to be added to Template:Stub. Too bad the page is protected.

@ ChillFactor: Be aware that "First Contact" places the in-game year at 2105, and I tend to use that as the "Present" point for events. You seem to have reversed time by 50 years and it conflicts with the ship design intro years I've already written.

My original intent was to write up/storyline the Terrans 50+ years to build up their Starfleet and colonize Sol after a nasty world-wide war in 2049 ended, by then they've conquered Sol in 2103.



@ CykoTitan: I appreciate what you're doing for the wiki but there are some parts that I don't agree with...I have to talk with Havik regarding the parts I (or we) don't agree on.
(Don't take this as an insult, you're doing great BTW)

Since I don't posses much knowledge regarding ships and races, I've chosen not to contribute in that matter.
The wiki just needed(/needs?) some basic things, eg. essential templates.

My 2 cents:
I've noticed there has been a lot of modding discussion. I think someone should make an 'introduction to modding' page on the wiki. One that describes what files do what, why making a copy of the files before modding is important, etc.
Comments?
