If there user made models they belong to whoever made them, despite similarities to star trek (Unless he ripped them from a game that aren't player created models.) I'm sure they have a license, but even still he does not need to share if he doesn't want too, his call. He probably would of been more supportive if warfighter wasn't making a super ships mod, to be honest. (No offense warfighter, you are though, despite balance

). But all in all he does not need to send them 'just because'. So war can either rip them himself or find mods that come with the images and use those. Again, either or, I'm sure if he started designing more balanced rather then crazy strong/unbalanced mods Sandtrooper would be more supportive. Since ST pretty much detests stuff like that (As I do too, but I honestly do not care more for the current nexus stats because there all messed up anyways now.)
Just to state theres tons of models out there that you can look for, though, Bridge Commander for one, for example, but there model files, so you'd have to do a bit of work.

As well warfighter, I took a look at what you are doing and your mod files are extremely weird. They have extra spaces and all files requre a extra blank enter key/space at the end to reconize its a full line. Your text editor, whatever you are using, is making a mess of the mod files. I did not bother looking at much else just yet because of that, its a big issue that would cause the game to crash and other junk.
Get something like TEXTPAD
www.textpad.com which supports opening these files properly and edits them properly, it should not mess up the files like your current editor is. Whatever program you are using to edit is not leaving the extra blank/ending space like it properly should. You will most likely have to add it on your own if you get me (But to every file) But I would just redownload the game (Or if you have a zipped files that are UNTOUCHED). But best bet would be to use the installer to get default files and EDIT using TEXTPAD or NOTEPAD++ or something. (Notepad++, not regular notepad). That should help EXTREMELY and prevent your crashes when editing simple things.
