umm for some reason now sol wont load, it just sits there at "loading graphics and sounds...", and i cant play online, period, for the same reason

no, but i jsut got done putting all of the stuff i have ever touched in a zip folder ready to slap it on the forum somehow, i shall try a re-install

You are totally modifying the files, I bet you did something!

You really need to not touch the default files at all and start from scratch, do what Sand does, make copies of the files needed aka SF_DATA_MODULES to MYMOD_DATA_MODULES, SF_DESIGN_SHIP to MYMOD_DESIGN_SHIP. etc.. I guarantee you touched something though, otherwise it would load... Specially when it was before. Tongue
