I think general battles are what your talking about BG, they do have those constantly. The wars just gather all the players at one time so the battles are alot larger/more fun, is what I think. Makes it more interesting when people know a set time to kick ass and chew bubblegum.

If you also didn't realize the last 6 pages are a circus really too, right after the first battle was done, so hoping it helps with a bit of structure because no structure just leads to silly fights on weither what team won and stops things like "BUT YOU WERE DOING THIS OR THAT" type scenarios.

We need to establish the parameters of battle in this game, especially Fleet wars (which in fact, are somewhat tournaments).

Time is not on our side ATM because its nearly Saturday and they'll probably won't comply to such requests...makes me wonder why the fuck they disobey any "set rule'...

In any case, during a war official battles determine the war, but there always has been the "attack on sight" order, since memorial times.

Whether they accept or not, if any OE comes firing at me I'll fire back, there are lots of newbs needing some proper training.

The ship a person has really doesn't matter because if you're halfway decent you can take on any dreadnought or battleship.

I hope your memory isn't failing. The last official "feet battle" as recorded by Anaxis contained a RUSH victory. Afterwards, SF started to die off and not enough people were around to facilitate the need for a "fleet battle".

Back when I was Naval Commander of A.L.L., there was this one official fleet war that occured which I had recovered the records for and kept for years.  (Recently lost it to my drives malfunctioning.)  I think it was a november war.  I reprisented for the fleet.  And in a number of combined, weighted, unweighted, and direct scores, I was not only top of the player list in that war, I pulled the entire fleet up behind me.

As SF began its decline, and ALL began to drift apart, I retired the fleet to let it fade with its Prestige and Honor in-tact and founded the operational force dedicated to protecting the servers from internet scumbags;  The Galaxy Command Fleet Authority, and I smashed many a soulless bastard child lamer on the power of Raw Skill.


Heed the words of this old commander men, heed them well.
